Right to access to information
The right of access to information regulated in Law 19/2013 on Transparency, access to public information and good governance, allows any natural or legal person to request any information or documentation held by the Instituto de Crédito Oficial that is not subject to the limitations established in the same Law.
Certain information is not subject to the principle of active publicity, however, it may be made available through the exercise of the right of access within the legally established framework.
The access request procedure will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Title I Chapter III of Law 19/2013 of 9 December on Transparency, access to public information and good governance.
To exercise the right of access, a request must be submitted, by any means, addressed to the Instituto de Crédito Oficial, which must contain the following information:
- Name and surname of the applicant.
- Photocopy of the applicant's National Identity Card or Passport.
- Contact address (preferably electronic) for communication purposes.
- Information on which the right of access is being exercised.
- Reason for requesting this information (optional).
Instituto de Crédito Oficial will resolve requests for information within a maximum period of one month, which may exceptionally be extended to two months, after notifying the applicant, if the request is particularly difficult to process.
