Silvia Díez
Head of State Funds
Silvia Díez Barroso has a degree in Economics and Business Science from the San Pablo C.E.U University (Madrid) and a Master's degree in Financial Markets from the C.E.U. Advanced Studies Institute.
She joined Instituto de Crédito Oficial in 1994, taking on various roles and responsibilities in different posts under the Chief Investment Officer: Head of the Institutional Financing Area, Head of the International and Structured Financing Area, and Head of the International Financing Department.
As Head of State Funds, she is responsible in the international sphere for formalising, administering and accounting for operations associated with funds in which the State acts both to promote the internationalisation of Spanish companies through the financing of their export and investment operations abroad, and in matters of international financial cooperation.
She is also responsible at the national level for managing, contracting, administering and accounting for operations associated with national and regional State Funds.
The State Funds Directorate is responsible for the Management of State Funds for Internationalisation Unit, the Administration of State Funds for Internationalisation Area and the Regional State Funds Unit.
