ICO is a stakeholder in various companies with the aim of supporting the funding of spanish companies.

Axis is a venture capital management firm which provides equity or quasi-equity instruments to companies to finance their growth.

It was the first venture capital firm established in Spain in 1986, registered as No.1 on the CNMV (Spanish Securities Market Commission) Register, and currently manages the following funds:

FOND-ICOpyme: the aim is to provide backing for enterprises' expansion plans, in the form of finance and a long-term business vision.
FOND-ICOinfraestructuras: the aim is to participate in projects involving transport infrastructure, energy, social aspects and services.
FOND-ICO Global: the aim is to promote the creation of venture capital funds managed by private managers covering the investment in Spanish companies within all their development stages.

COFIDES is a mixed capital (publicly and privately owned) public limited company (S.A) created in 1988. It gives financial support to viable private projects carried out in emerging or developing countries, where there is some kind of Spanish interest, to contribute to the development of these countries and to the internationalisation of the economy and of Spanish companies, provided that they are considered to be profitable.
