The ICO as a manager of European funds
The ICO develops and manages various initiatives as an Implementing Partner of the European Commission
ICO is an Implementing Partner of the European Commission, which enables it to carry out the delegated management of funds in European Union programmes under the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 and the NextGenerationEU Initiative.
InvestEU Programme
The ICO signed, on February 14, 2023, the first guarantee agreement of the InvestEU programme. This agreement is aimed at launching the ICO Green Deal product, a tool to invest €150 million in the capital of sustainable infrastructure and its industrial ecosystem, through the subscription of specialised investment funds, in the InvestEU Sustainable Infrastructure window.

The ICO has the capacity to manage European Union funds for Spanish companies' projects that contribute to strengthening the economic recovery with a clear sustainable profile, in four main areas of action:
