Rosario Casero
Chief Investment Officer
Rosario Casero Echeverri holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Valladolid, as well as a master's degree in finance from the Instituto de Estudios Financieros and IESE's Programme for Management Development.
She has had a strong professional career at ICO, where she has held various positions of responsibility. These include Deputy Director of Investment, Deputy Director of Risk and Control, Deputy Director of Investment Banking, Head of Strategy and Chief Investment Officer. She has also been vice-chairwoman and a director of AXIS, as well as a Board member of COFIDES.
As Chief Investment Officer of ICO, she is responsible for generating, structuring and managing financing operations for companies and institutions, as well as financing facilities for companies through the private financial sector, both internationally and nationally. In addition, she is responsible for the activities entrusted to ICO on behalf of State Funds. In her capacity as Vice-chairwoman of the venture capital company AXIS, Participaciones Empresariales S.A. she is responsible for the ICO group's venture capital activity.
